More snow than we know what to do with...

Max knows what he wants to do...read the classics!
Amy on a Yankee Clipper, the Greatest Sled Ever Made.

Tycho really likes the snow.

Looking at this picture, I expect to see some powder hound come ripping through these trees.

Icicles are inherently cool.

Family Photos from the Christmas in Kirkland

Here are some assorted pix from the Honeywell Family Christmas in Kirkland...

Sledding on the steepest hill in the neighborhood...

The three fiercest wrestlers in all of Mexico...

It was a very small, intimate, gathering...

I just really like this picture...

Christmas 2008

Well Christmas has come and gone for another year and I am, as always, amazed at how quickly it passes by. This year it was time to make the trek to Kirkland with all the kids and spend the holiday at my Mom's. We got over the pass just under the wire, 90 minutes after we crossed the state closed I-90 for most of the next day. Good thing we left early.

On Sunday, we met our friends Heidi and Owen at Bel-Square for running around adn pix with Santa. We also had to get Mom out of the house for the first time in a week. It seems that Seattle and the surrounding communities have forgotten how to clear snow from the roads, parking lots, and any other surface that humans may use for transportation. I guess in the eyes of those in control of such things; if we were meant to get around in such horrible conditions man woudl have invented something to take care of the problem....like a snow plow maybe?

Christmas morning was awesome, Santa was VERY good to the kids and they were super excited to see if Santa had listened to their wishes...

Judging from this little guys reaction, I think the answer is a resounding yes!

Just try prying these gifts out of their hands...I dare you....

Santa Butch and Poppy

During soccer season, Anni would run the other if Butch got wihin 50 yards of her. Now we can't keep her away from him.
We took Poppy to the Gonzaga game for his birthday, as you can tell our color is Crimson...

First Snow of the Season

The view from our front porch.

Bringing in the tree

We think our tree is cool...
The tree lighting crew...
Anni was very excited that she got to top off the tree
No, the tree is not leaning, our house is...

Soon after this picture was taken, everyone cracked...
